The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force is actively seeking a suspect involved in an armed robbery at Mam’s Supermarket earlier this week.
On September 20, 2023, at about 2:05 p.m., a masked man entered the said supermarket and held the cashier at gun point demanding she hand over money from the cash register.
Dominica News Online (DNO) has been informed that at the time of the robbery the gunman was wearing a grey hoodie, black long pants, black mask and rubber gloves on his hand.
The individual successfully made good his escape with $634.50 in cash. After exiting the building, the robber drove away in a HRV vehicle in a southernly direction.
DNO will continue to follow this story and report any new development as the investigation unfolds.

If most of these young men were to be gainfully employed in good paying jobs, the high rate of these brazen robberies will be significantly diminished.
The country needs a reset. It needs a people centered government, equity and equality in the distribution of the national resources, a healthy respect for rule of law, an end to political victimization and division. Those are but a few well need changes that could see Dominica fulfil its greatest potential.

Melissa Skerrit is urgently required to address the NATION.. In her address she needs to call upon all snipers, navy seals and soldiers to stop intimidating, killing and terrorising the people. She need to apologise to Dominicans for her loose tongue and her careless, carefree statement…Will she do it? I doubt. Shekira did ask all Dominicans to deliberately break our law also, by entering the country backdoor, front door, pipwi, swimming, etc, at election time to facilitate Skerrit’s election rigging. Snipers, navy seals are closely associated with assassinations. Since Melissa claims she has both, these people carry out clandestine activities outside the rule of law. I assume with no money coming until a next election cycle for them, the navy seals, the snipers, ad the foot soldiers are now turning their guns on the business places.
Melissa should be bruising her knees and ask the country for forgiveness. Roosevelt should also be held accountable for the dire economic state of the country that is fueling these blatant robberies and heinous murders.

In dangerous times like these, the country need firm leadership, to allay the fears of the citizenry. Skerrit, the Starboy of Stupidity told the world that he run things in Dominica. Additionally the country knows that he is the Minister of Everything. The question is why has he abandoned the people, including the labourites he hoodwinks every 5 years to help him STEAL general elections.. From his buffoonic utterances everything that happens on island is attributable to him. I am honest and, I do intend to refute that foolish argument. It is all politics as usual for both you and Meme. Your fight against Skerrit will soon come to a bitter end for you. Crimes are everywhere and happening everyday in this world. In big Advanced America with all the technologies you can think of, murder continues, kidnapping continues, robberies continue, hijacking of personal vehicles continues, stealing kids away from their loved ones continues. You name it, it is all happening in America. Who told you that small Dominica is immune from all the ills that is happening in other parts of the world? You would be a fool to believe so. There is no way where Ugly Lennox Linton and Thomas Fontaine can fix the problems of the world today. They cannot even fix their own personal problems let alone the problems of the world.
Dominican business owners need to invest in surveillance and security detection cameras to protect their businesses, and to aid law enforcement authorities in capturing criminals, and bringing these thugs to justice. The funds invested in these technologies will overtime pay for themselves in combatting crime, and reducing similar incidents.
