The lead singer of popular reggae band Caribbean Vybez, Julie “Devine Songz” Christmas, released the music video for his popular single ‘Forever’ Thursday night (August 15).
The Ambo Visuals-directed video was premiered at a well-attended video launch ceremony at the Ruins Rock Café in the capital Roseau. The video was also released for the first time online on popular social networking websites Facebook and YouTube.
As the name indicates, ‘Forever’ is a lover’s rock single about a man promising to stay with his lady always. The single’s audio was first released online about a month ago and has since received rave reviews. But the music video puts a twist on things, with the female lead having to deal with some unexpected frustration from her beau in order to get his commitment.
The music video was shot at various locations including the Fort Young Hotel, Morne Bruce lookout, Zam Zam Café and Rhythms on the River.

Loved it.Very talented young man. Nayere (hope I spelt it correctly) should take a page from this guys book. This guy seems real, not pompous and show off like the previously mentioned artist.Nice job! Keep up the good work!
Good work young man the sky is the limit for you.
I have a question for those in the music industry: Is is difficult/costly to get your music on iTunes? I have been downloading reggae and soca from other islands for some time now, but rarely see any from Dominica. I looked for this reggae song from DS and couldn’t find it.
Great Song, great video, great composition and arragement. Pitch, melody, style on point and the video was very fitting, not too over the top, Just right. Love it, love it, love it.
this video says alot, it is good work well put together, to some it might just be a song or a video but it has a very strong message which shows the behavior of the typical dominica woman
good work bro
Great voice. He needs exposure so put him on the big stage: World Creole Music Festival.
Omg this guy is great am loving him !!!
Yah I respecting that Ambo dude eh. Great work!!
I must take the time out to commend this young man!
I belong to another generation and i find majority of the videos produced by young people in Dominica to be repulsive; naked girls and copycats of Jamaican styles, therefore, I totally ignore them.
Somehow I clicked on this video and was so pleasantly surprised by this young man’s video that I had to say well done.
If you can stay true to yourself; success may take some time but it will come because you have true talent.
Today I am going out to buy your music; my way of letting you know that I support you. i will tell my many friends about you.
An old fan
Song got really nice vibe…catchy tune..nice clean video..pure simple Reggae..great vocals…(comparism:Morgan Heritage..meant to be good compliment)this guy needs/deserves a good breakthrough>>#DOMINICA TOTHEWORLD#! LUV IT!
I love the song…. cant get it off my mind… keep up the good work… its great to see another talented person in our beautiful country… continue to make great music… ur an inspiration to us all
Been following this guy this “Many Waterz”. If he was in a bigger music market, he would be as large as Christopher Martin at least. Real talented young man. Well grounded (well hoping he remains true to himself). This song is well written and arranged, the video is okay but the development of the storyline is iffy…all in all a 9 stars from me.
Just my humble opinion. Keep up the good work Julie. The Good Lord will continue to bless you. Keep it real.
