Rotaract Club of Portsmouth has elected a new executive

The Rotaract Club of Portsmouth is pleased to announce the results of the recently held election for several spots on its Board of Directors for 2019-2020. The club’s first election was held on October 2,2019 and the election was open to anyone residing in the Portsmouth and environs between the ages of 18-30 years old. The following members were elected:
Phibisha Joseph- President
Keziah Hypolite- Vice President
Samantha Lawrence- Secretary
Ardassah Nanthan- Treasurer
During her thank you speech President Phibisha, lamented the need for the group to work together to bring forth the changes they wish to see in their communities. The club has already discussed a few community projects and look forward to executing the projects soon in collaboration with community members.
President Sari of the Rotary Club of Portsmouth expressed how delighted she was to see so many young adults ready to serve by taking up the mantle and helping to develop their communities.
More About the Rotaract Club
The Rotaract club brings together people ages 18-30 years old to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service while developing their communities and impacting lives positively.
Rotaract members decide how to organize and run their club, manage their own funds, and plan and carry out activities and service projects thus preparing them to be better leaders. The Rotary Club of Portsmouth is the sponsor of the club and will offer guidance and support and work with the club as partners in service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to take action through service.
