Russia’s bid to return to the moon after nearly five decades using their Luna-25 probe ended in failure on Saturday when the unmanned craft crashed into the surface of the moon according to an announcement from the Russian space agency on Sunday.
The crash was caused by a misfiring of one of its thrusters which was just one of several problems experienced on the mission with the ultimate objective of landing at the moon’s south polar region.

Why are the Russians and Americans trying to return to the moon? What minerals does the moon have? I hope its not Uranium/Plutonium they looking for to make more nuclear bombs.

His (Putin) lunar mission has failed and so will be his military invasion of Ukraine. Russia has just directed a missile attack on a hospital in Ukraine that killed a baby who was undergoing surgery.
