Sudden death of ‘exceptional’ CHS teacher sends waves of grief through school and community

Kevin Angol

Education Minister Octavia Alfred has described the late Mr. Kevin Angol, a teacher at the Convent High School (CHS) as a “dedicated teacher”. Mr Angol died at his residence in Bath Road suddenly on Thursday morning.

“The passing of Mr. Angol, a dedicated teacher at the Convent High School is indeed a sad moment,” she said. “This is a very challenging time for the Convent High School community and Mr. Angol’s family, especially his mom, Josephine Lewis.”

According to Alfred, Mr. Angol began his teaching journey at the CHS in 2014 and he quickly established himself as an exceptional educator in physics, mathematics, and ICT.”

“His technical expertise did not go unnoticed and he has left a significant imprint on that school,” she stated.

Alfred continued, “In this moment of profound sadness we are reminded of the timeless truth that losing a son is a mother’s agony that knows no equal.”

Furthermore, she said that students of the CHS have lost a mentor, a school has lost a teacher “and the Ministry of Education has lost a pillar who supported our educational community.”

On behalf of the Ministry of Education and the Government of Dominica Alfred extends deepest condolences to the family, especially his mother, friends, loved ones of Mr Angol, the teachers, students, and the Principal at the CHS.

“May God strengthen all of us in this time of grief,” Alfred said.

Meantime, according to a post on the CHS Facebook page, Mr. Angol was an integral pillar, especially with the CHS online network.

“Whether he taught a student or not, you’d become familiar when he put his cape on and saved our day from Internet and technology woes. He once was titled DJ Boyles ‘Law when he once provided music services at CHS activities and assemblies. He helped tremendously in the timetabling of CHS staff and subjects…,” the post said.  “A gentle giant, funny, hardworking, determined, committed. Kevin… this is so hard…this is unbelievable. But as people who look to the Lord, this is not the end. We send condolences to his mom and family.”

I suspect it’s a new world 🌎 order continuing to take root with all these young sudden death 💀.
Makes me wonder what new has been introduced to our people under the drunken influence of a computer tech, and his wife, I think her name is .. “foundation”.

My people, it’s not unusual for so many young people passing away post COVI-19, especially those who took the vaccine. Remember the many who fell prey to that killer and were taken to hospitals where no family members were present? Did they receive the vaccine? Family members could not plea on their behalf so they were left to die all alone. I believe that this plague is being used to de-populate.

    “Skerrit and his vaccine genocide.”
I doubt that anyone will take such nonsensical comment seriously: one should be concerned with the number of sudden deaths which has occurred recently in the country!
Roosevelt Skerrit at this time is not a very like man but to assume he is using some sort of vaccine to randomly murder people is hogwash.

We do have an issue in this country relating to effective medical treatment, due the poorly trained quacks called doctors Roosevelt imported, with that knowledge the natives are afraid to visit and get treated by then; especially when they see Roosevelt and his puppet ministers, and family going out of the country for medical treatment.
The Cuban and Chinese Quacks are the major contributing factors to these sudden deaths.
They are hurting our people, while so many of our professionally trained doctors are here in the United States and other places successfully treating patients.

I’d like to know which Angol was his father, and whether he has relatives in Grand Bay since I am also an Angol.
    Thanks

You don’t know your family? Accept my sympathy. Why do we only know people when they are gone? Can we make a point of contact before death. Dominica just have a handful of people. Sorry for your lost.

Condolences to Josephine Lewis and family on the passing of her son Kevin Angol. It is painful when a mother loses her only son at such a young age. But thats how life rolls and we have just have to pray for strength to persevere. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

May his soul rise in power. He looks like Stumpy Angol who went to the DGS in the 1970s. Was that his son?
