Thailand attack: ex-cop kills 22 children at daycare centre

Reuters reports: BANGKOK, Oct 6 (Reuters) – A former policeman killed 38 people, including 22 children, in a knife and gun rampage at a daycare centre in Thailand on Thursday, later shooting dead his wife and child at their home before turning his weapon on himself, police said.

The children at the daycare centre in Uthai Sawan, a town 500 km (310 miles) northeast of Bangkok, were mostly stabbed to death, they said.

    Man has lost his humanity. This particular crime was unthinkable or extremely rare once ago. Now it is becoming commonplace. Condolences to the whole of Thailand.

      How is it becoming commonplace? These types of events are so rare that they make news whenever they happen in a world of over 7 billion people. Terrorist attacks in general have been becoming more rare ever since groups like ISIS were all but completely destroyed by the Trump admin. There was a time when every holiday you could expect a truck attack, a bombing, somebody trying to run people over with vehicles etc. We have had very few of those in the last 5 years or so compared to the years before that
