On the morning of April 17, ventilators and forehead thermometers were donated by the Chinese Embassy to Dominica to be used in the fight against COVID-19. This is the second batch of equipment to arrive in Dominica from China.
The hand-over ceremony was held at China-Dominica Friendship Hospital. Hon. Reginald Austrie, Senior Minister and Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Irving McIntyre, Minister of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment, Hon. Kenneth Darroux, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and Diaspora Relations of Dominica as well as Mr. Luo Songtao, Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy attended the ceremony and delivered a brief speech respectively.
Mr. Luo Songtao said that as the virus respects no border, it calls for cooperation to contain the epidemic. As good friends that share weal and woe, China and Dominica have supported each other in fighting the disease.
China is ready to strengthen cooperation with Dominica and shore up Dominica’s lines of defense by sharing experience and providing medical supplies, all in a bid to gain a full victory against the epidemic.
Senior Minister Hon. Reginald Austrie conveyed the gratitude of the Prime minister Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit to China.
All three Ministers expressed their thanks to the Chinese Embassy for its firm support, saying that the donation of the ventilators were of crucial significance to Dominica’s disease control efforts.
This has once again demonstrated the strong bond of friendship between China and Dominica.
A week ago, the first batch of material donations by Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation from China including 1,536 nucleic acid test kits and 30,000 surgical masks were handed over to Dominica.
In addition, other materials pledged by the Chinese government towards the efforts to combat the virus in Dominica such as medical protective clothing, face masks, goggles and forehead thermometers will also come soon.
The Chinese Communist Party has only one objective, that is to rule the world. They will do anything to achieve this goal, including killing and imprisoning millions of Chinese citizens. If they will kill their own people for this, don’t you think they would be willing to kill others also? The Dominican Gov’t. keep talking about their “friendship” with the ccp. I have never heard of friendship being bought, but it is money and “gifts” that have bamboozled this group of black leaders. And talking of black? if the cabal here has such a strong friendship, why are they not standing up for our fellow blacks that are suffering ill-treatment in china right now? The ccp should be made to pay for this madness they have brought upon us all, and if the gov’t. here does not understand, ask Ecuador, and Malaysia, and various African countries. For all we know, we may already be living in a chinese province.

KID , these ministers of government should be labeled DISHONORABLE . They distort the truth, very corrupt, extremely incompetent, indolent and should be permanently quarantined. This is an emasculated government that is yet to devise an economic stimulus package that will aid the thousands of suffering citizens and residents. They are truly the definition of USELESSNESS! Dominica, such a naturally beautiful island , such a pitiful, economic mess.
Kindly take a moment to observe the gear used by the Dominican health professionals. Worthless face mask not properly applied, no gloves, no aprons. Compared with the Chinese and you will find that the face mask, though worthless is compressed against the nose bridge, ensuring that any viruses in the air are not automatically inhaled. The Chinese national also uses gloves, thus protecting his hands , though neither party is using an apron, the Chinese national seems to have a purpose for using the gear. In our officials case, either they don’t understand the rationale for the use of the PPE or they believe that these are now fashionable items of clothing.
Disappointed with the previous and current minister of health and Dr Ruby Blanc who should all know better in terms of the use of PPE.
Additionally, emanating from these images though, it appears that Senior Minister Austrie is either very tired or very ill and he has a lazy left eye.

Where did coronavirus come from?. I don’t know but president Trump says is China.
Who gave birth to or where was it born? Well we all know it was born in Wahun, China and, president Trump often referred to it as the Chinese disease.
Which automobile manufacturer that does not make spare parts for their cars? I said all that to say that China donating ventelators for a disease that was born in China is no big thing and only blind people would applaud them for that. In fact despite who the government says was the first case on island, I believe the Chinese brought it here and they just never tested anyone. Look if something did not go wrong with the person they said was the first case we would never have known he had it because he or the others he infected never got very sick. So when those Chinese are in their embassy, who knows what they brought with them? I even feel some Dominicans died from Covid-19 here but unfortunately the dead don’t talk all they can do is vote for Skerrit
South Africa, Australia, the UK and other countries have flatly rejected the Chinese manufactured quick test lids because many of them were found to be inefficacious. The ventilators seem to be of good quality though. China is not an altruistic nation but always has ulterior motives. Caribbean countries have to always be on guard in dealing with this predator, racist, undemocratic nation.
