Three Dominican footballers among top players in Concacaf Nations League

(L-r) Glenson Prince, Keeyan Thomas, Troy Jules

Three Dominican footballers were named among the top eleven players as League C of the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League (CNL) got underway recently.

The League C Best XI was named by Concacaf to recognize players who have performed remarkably well in the CNL so far.

Dominica is in League C of the games and according to Concacaf, although many players delivered top performances in the course of two matches already played in the league, the eleven players stood out in their positions.

Out of the eleven, the three Dominicans are Glenson Prince, Keeyan Thomas, and Troy Jules. These players performed remarkably well in their second CNL match against the Turks and Caicos Islands last week during which Dominica won 3-0.

During that match, Prince, a goalkeeper, helped lead Dominica to victory with five saves and three clearances, according to Concacaf.

Thomas, a midfielder, was described by Concacaf as a “vacuum cleaner” during the match, “making a whopping nine steals while also chipping in with an assist in completing 96 percent of his passes.”

For his part, Jules was said to be “a man on a mission,”  scoring a goal in each half of the game to help score a clean-sweep victory for Dominica.

The win over the Turks and Caicos Islands was Dominica’s second victory in the CNL, which lifted the island to the top spot in League C, followed by the British Virgin Islands with three points after one match. Turks and Caicos Islands are third with no points through two matches.

You are an idiot, and you will remain one. It’s only a fool that will make such a comment based on what is written here. Sad that Dominica has so many stupid and empty heads living abroad and their contribution on everything is so ignorant empty and meaningless. You surely did not understand the article! That’s your problem. You have the IQ of a first grader.
