The National Executive Committee of the United Workers Party (UWP) has extended sincere condolences to the family and friends of the late Businessman and former Politician, Julius Timothy who died earlier this morning.
In a statement made via Facebook the party said : “We thank him for his service to the country and the commitment and dedication to the people of Dominica. May his soul Rest in Peace.”

Sincere Condolences to the family of Mr Julius Timothy, my past Chairman of the former National Commercial Bank of Dominica (now NBD)when I was Manager of its then Subsidiary, the AIDBank. I am honoured to have worked under his chairmanship.

I am sending my condolences to the family and I hope the police do that.Timothy was a very good friend to the police,he once played on the police REBEL dominoe team.
The leadership struggles of the UWP started the very same day the party refused to make him the party leader and instead looked for all Kawant with no leadership skills to lead the party. It so damn sad to see Tim Tim passed when the party is divided, with leadership problems and maybe pwee too.
