The police are investigating the death of 23 year old Damian Ernest of Backstreet Kingshill. His lifeless body was found on the trail on the way to the Boeri lake.
The body discovered lying face down in a pool of blood.
According to police bullet wounds were found in his torso upon closer examination.
The body was transported to the Dominica China friendship hospital and has been transported to the Lyndhurst funeral home awaiting a post mortem examination.
The police have indicated that investigations continue into the matter.

Another young man dead this time gun down. Who killed him? Only 23 years old man. What is clear to me is our young men continue to be killed and I often wonder if there is not a demand on the blood of our young men. I think now mother’s have to do like the mother of Moses and try to hide their sons even if it means to help them get out of Dominica. My deepest sympathy to family and friends of the deceased
