US Secretary of State’s Independence Day message to Dominica

On behalf of the United States of America, congratulations to the people of Dominica on the 45th anniversary of your independence.

Dominica and the United States share an enduring commitment to tackle complex and critical issues, including climate resilience, energy security, and citizen security. Our partnership is based on shared democratic values and a common vision for inclusive and sustainable prosperity.

The United States and Dominica will continue our work together under the U.S.-Caribbean Partnership to Address the Climate Crisis (PACC 2030), which includes technical assistance to advance geothermal energy for the people of Dominica. Our countries will also continue cooperation through the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative to combat transnational organized crime and illicit trafficking.

Best wishes from me and the American people for a happy and prosperous year ahead for all the people of Dominica.

No indictment on Skerrit intended or inferred by the US State Department’s Independence Day message to Dominica.

Here is the same cookie-cutter, generic message the US sent to SVG:

On behalf of the United States of America, please accept my best wishes as Saint Vincent and the Grenadines celebrates its 44th year of independence. The United States is committed to its long-standing partnership with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. We are proud of our work together under the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative to address crime and violence and help support a safe, secure, and prosperous Caribbean. Going forward we are excited to collaborate on the U.S.-Caribbean Partnership to Address the Climate Crisis 2030 (PACC 2030), which will help Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and other countries in the region tackle one of the most pressing global challenges. On this anniversary of your country’s Independence Day the United States hopes for a happy…

    Does it sound look familiar?

They have used us as cheap labor and failed us miserably, I’m so glad China is making them nervous 😓.
