Why would anyone buy a book written by an author who seems not to know the difference in a ” Lieutenant Governor, and a Governor Deputy?
Brief: “In 1833 following the creation of the federal colony of the Leeward islands, Dominica governor was replaced by Lieutenant Governor; subordinate to the Governor-in-Chief of the Leeward islands.” Aan by the way the word “leftenant” simple implies the person standing to the left of the lieutenant!
“In 1895 the president was replaced by an administrator who remained subordinate to the Governor-In-Chief of the Leeward islands until 1940 when Dominica was transferred to the Windward islands: colony from 1940-1958.”
Congrats on your publication. Hope to read a copy soon.
