The passage of a strong tropical wave with an associated area of low pressure is expected to bring moderate to heavy showers and thunderstorms across the Lesser Antilles during the next 24 hours.
A Flood Warning is in effect until 6am Sunday 20th. People in areas prone to flooding, landslides and falling rocks should be vigilant.
There are two other tropical disturbances in the Central Atlantic, with high chances for development over the next few days, are being monitored. Current model projections indicate that these systems will pose no direct threat to Dominica.
Moderate to rough seas are anticipated during the next 12 to 24 hours, with waves peaking to 10.0ft, along the eastern coastline. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to stay out of the water.
