He is survived by his wife Elleen Durand, one daughter Curleen Durand – a teacher at the Colihaut Primary School and one grandson Já-ir Henry.
He will also be remembered by:

The body of the late Claude Durand may be viewed from 2:00 pm on Tuesday 26th January at the Roseau Seventh-day Adventist Church, followed by the funeral service at 2:30 pm and interment at the Roseau public cemetery.
Yes that was my cousin too.he is an ex member of the dominica disfuncted defence force.
This man was hardworking, friendly, funny and humble.
