There was one thing which I ommited and that was to thank the staff at Dominica News Online for their very professional and heartfelt approach in dealing with the announcement.
I made the announcement from London and felt that I was in Dominica at the time. The staff dealt with my request in a very professional, yet personal manner. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. You made it easy for us at a time when we needed compassion.
God bless you all. xxxx

Darling I can see that this has aroused an emotion in you because you feel that ‘Mama’ as we affectionately called Mum has been attacked by a heartless person. He/she is probably not even Dominican, we’re a God fearing, loving people. Let’s pray for ‘Anonymous’ whomever that is!!! Mama would say, ‘that’s my little lady’ She adored you!!!
Love u xxxx
I do not know you and your family but i check my news daily, i lost my mom years ago to so i know you and you family will get through it to another day with all the love and loving memories all of you shared with her my condolences to all of you God bless
Thank you very much Big Mama. Its very kind of you to be so kind and thoughtful at this time. God bless you. We truly appreciate your words of comfort.
The Bellot family conveys sincere condolences to the Joseph family on the passing of our dear friend MA Pierre, as we so affectionately called her. May her soul rest in peace and may family and friends be consoled with only the peace that God gives. Our prayers are with you.
Los Angeles
Many grateful thanks to the Bellot family. We knew you very well. Mr. Bellot lived just across the road from us in Frekeriksted St. Croix. We also lived not far from you when we lived in Kings Lane.
We truly appreciate your warm and heartfelt words of comfort. Mum is at peace. God bless you all.
Are you really saying that someone’s death, is making something out of nothing? I truly wish I was allowed to call you by the name I think you really are. Although, I have no idea who this Lady is, I think you should think twice before making such HURTFUL statements. I hope she hounds you the rest of your days.
Errol many thanks for your kind support at this very sad time. You did not know our Mum but defended her dignity and that of her family. God bless you. Dominicans as a whole are a wonderful God fearing people. This person needs prayer.
Wishing I could bring my mother back to her home town so her sisters, brothers and relatives can have a chance to pay their respect to my mother.
May your soul rest in peace. It is surprising to me that they announce her death with regret. Death is a natural part of life regardless of the circumstances behind it. May her family find comfort in the legacy that she left behind.
Dear Ovaltine, my favourite drink!!! The word regret was used instead of sadness. This is because we are really very sad that we’ve lost our Mum and we regret that she’s no longer with us in person. I’m sorry that the word regret seems to have upset you. God bless you.
info a bit misleading..the lady from Riviere Cyrique..village close to Morne jaune..brother living in Les Pointe, not Mahaut.
Thanks for the info but at a time of grief, who cares about if he lives on the sea?
RIP didn’t know you but you were a daughter of the soil. i do however know your brothers and sister who live in my village. condolences to them.
A daughter of the soil she was indeed! and a very proud one she was!!! In fact The Dominica flag was interned with Mum as she was laid to rest. She’s now at peace. God bless.
R.I.P.
But how many people preceeded her in her death? How is that relevant
It is interesting to know that she buried her husband and two children. May she rest in peace with Christ.
just say R.I.P and shut up…we Dominican’s to like making something out of nothing! gosh. Anyways…Rest in peace mam
This guy (Anonymous)
is sick and should be barred from writing on your link.
Errol it’s so kind and decent of you to defend Mum’s memory in this way. One wonders why he remains ‘Anonymous???’
God bless you. Thank you.
