She will be remembered by her husband: Mr. Wilson Perez in the Dominican Republic,

Her daughter:         Mariana Faustino Perez,

Her sons:                  Rovenson & Wily Faustino Perez

Her sisters:               Manuela & Roselena Faustino (both reside in the Dominican Republic)

Her friends and associates include: Iris, Magi, Veronique, Louvaine Prosper, Pastor Exantus Marcene, Miguel Shillingford, Tina Alexander, staff of Cliff Top Services, Loujaqs Restaurant, members of the Spanish/Haitian communities, and others too numerous to mention.


The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, from 3pm, at the Roseau Seventh Day Adventist Church followed by burial at the Roseau Public Cemetery.


She was a citizen of the Dominican Republic who resided in Dominica. Mrs. Faustino de Perez was a member of the Dominica Cancer Society and an employee of Cliff Top Services.

Maria will be loved and missed by so many, including her children and the Spanish and Haitian community of Dominica. She has united three ethnicities [Dominicans, Dominican Republicans, and Haitians] in life and in death.

May her beloved soul "Rest in Peace".

    So sorry to be out of state for it all, it was good to be her friend …. just too short. We need to continue the fight to see people get the help they need EARLY. Please join us in October on our walk for cancer care in memory of this lovely woman.
