    TO: U AND ME BOTH

You have defended yourself as a Christian who is born again. And I am confident in you now, as a brother or sister in Jesus Christ. Someone referred to you as he, but I do not know, and it does not matter to me.

At first I was not sure of your direction in Love, because of a part of your main comment. That is where you said that you do not believe that an unsaved should label themselves as a Christian. An unsaved person is a person who will not apply faith, by which he or she is able to accept the Salvation of Jesus Christ, a gift of God which is free for all.

However, after that person accepts Salvation he or she is identified as a Christian. The important thing is that, he or she must continue in Spirit and Truth, that they might produce the Fruits of Love, which was conceived from the seed of Love–that production is evidence he or she is a born again Christian. It is not enough to say “I believe in God, through Jesus Christ” We must fall in Love with Jesus Christ, as this Love in us will cause us to demonstrate the attitude and conducts of Love.

Otherwise we are just people, who will not be judged for our sins, because in Jesus Christ, our sins are washed away once we believe. However, the lesser our works and growth in Love, as people who have been saved the lesser our rewards in heaven. It means that some of us will experience very little of the ecstasy of Love, based on our growth of Love through our existence in this world, at our early entrance in Paradise.

Hence we will have a longer way to go than others as we continue to develop in the fullness of God, who is Love. Faith, Hope, and Love abides forever, but the greatest is Love. 1st Corinthians 13

I suppose you assume that Alex Holder is not demonstrating those conducts and attitude based on his choice of living. I agree with you. But we need to point out those errors in people through the direction of Love, as the Holy Spirit in us is guiding us. Nonetheless you spoke the truth in general; and God guided you to rebuke your opponents.

I hope that those who came down so hard against you, will reexamine their conscience to find out if there is a way they can comprehend and accept what you said, especially that most of what you said is the same thing that I said.

One thing people should know is that God’s Holy Spirit teaches us the same thing, regardless of who we are or the distance between us. God is choosing His people, and He intends to bring us together at His time. I know that I will meet with you someday, and most of all in the Land of Paradise at the place in Eternity.

Continue in the Life of Spirit and Truth, for this Life is the Life of Love, the only Life there is, because of the blood of Jesus Christ. Praise and glory be to Him!

My true identity is Elizabeth Xavier. I used the above identity to declare what my desire in Life is because of my love for God, in Jesus Christ. I am a born again Christian, twelve years ago today. But from the day I begin to know myself up the day I was 46 years old, I thought myself to be a Christians. Why? Because I believe in God, by faith in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. For that is who Christians are supposed to be.

Muslims and Jews believe in God, but they will not accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God, that is why they are not Christians. At the same time there are millions of Christians all over the world, dominated by the denomination of the Roman Catholic Church, but most of those so called Christians are not born again. Some denominations of the churches do not even accept this teaching of the Bible, which is the teaching of Jesus Christ.

I grew up as a steady church goer of the Roman Catholic in Dominica. As a member of our village youth group I was involved in everything that took place in the church. But I walked away from church life, the day I set my feet on board an airplane of BWIA, that took me straight to Toronto International Airport. From that day I never set foot in a church until I needed to dedicate my son as a baby in 1981.

What was the reason for the big change in me from the time I left Dominica, pertaining to God and Church? It was not because I did not know anything about God, or His Person in Jesus Christ. But it was that, even though I was all wrapped in what I now call religiosity, which advocates churchianity, my physical body represented a coffin. Because my true person, who is my soul, was dead within me.

When did I learn about all this? When God decided to show mercy and compassion of His Love, because He knew that I was just another ignorant human being, as far as Him and Life, which is of Love–the Light of Jesus Christ was concerned.

But God did not serve me on a silver platter when introduced Himself and His Love to me. At revelation 3:19, God said: Those I love, I will rebuke and chasten. Yes, my people of Dominica, I had to go through the most difficult training and discipline from God, that I could humble myself, to learn to trust and obey Him, because He needed to show me Life and to teach me how to live this Life by the traits of Love, which is the core of His Holy being.

I was baptized as an adult in a Pentecostal Church of Toronto. Not just to become a member of their church; because I am aware that we have human beings, who function by the wisdom and philosophy of their human minds all over the world. Even the church who could be bold enough to declare “I am the best one among all of them, is full of humans under the sole control of their human minds.” Their loud music and drumming further affected my hearing impairment, and so, I stopped following with them.

Six months after my baptism, I was filled with God’s Holy Spirit. The encounter came about at home. It was me alone in the present of the Trinity–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Today I exist with an awakened soul, born again of Love–the Life that is my Light, infinite in me, because of my faith in God, through the blood of His Son, Jesus Christ. In this new Life, i walk in Love with my God, in the Person of Jesus Christ.

I notice that the majority of you commented against the person named U AND ME BOTH. As a mature Christian, I would not describe that person’s comment as a comment directed through the wisdom Love, as he/she says she is a born again Christian. For I know that many Christians are born again, but they continue to ignorantly rely on their carnal mind, as Satan continues to influence them not to allow God to build the mind of Spirit and Truth in them.

But most of you who commented against that person expressed your attitude of total ignorance of Life, God, and His Ways of Life by faith in Jesus Christ.

Someone said that a BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN must demonstrate the attitude and conducts of God Holy Spirit–the Fruits of the Spirit. That is the truth. For Jesus told His disciples: “You will know good trees by their fruits.” Matthew 7: 16. Trees in Jesus term means people. The apostle Paul listed nine Fruits of the Spirit at Galatians 5: 22. Two of those Fruits are Joy and Peace.

The day I came to know the substance of Joy and Peace, I also learned that I did not need television, telephone, stereo set, beers or wine in my fridge, and most all, not a dark and wild house party, or the bash of Caribana on the streets or on the fun islands of Toronto. Up until I was 46 years old, the above practice was the true way of life in my opinion.

I am saying that the Joy and Peace of God’s Love overpowered all of those habits in my Life, even the friends that came with those practices. But what makes it even more satisfying is that, this ecstasy remain with me to uplift me most when I am going through one of those dark hours of a day or the blackness of a night.

Alex Holder is a young man. And he may not even be a church goer. But he was asked to give an identity about himself as far as religion is concerned. Since he is neither Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, or Buddhist, he is not wrong to identify himself as a Christian; because of the fact that everyone, including Christians themselves, affiliate Christianity with religion.

U AND ME BOTH might have taken him more seriously than that, because of his/her relationship with God. For the truth is that Christianity should be recognized as a relationship with God, not a movement affiliated with the conducts and attitude and conducts of religion, as the practice demonstrates nothing more than a self-righteous, social gathering which people call church. Perhaps Alex should have said that he did not follow religion, instead of identifying himself as a Christian, if he is not a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ.

And by the way, those of you who are waiting for God to judge you on the last day, as you hit against church and deny your identity and affiliation with HIm, you are in for a tragic surprise. You have all the days in this world to settle your Salvation before you die, or before Jesus’ return, if you are still alive. In other words the time is now. Salvation means that you practice to live the Life of Love now, for the glory of God.

If you are thinking that you can just say I BELIEVE IN GOD while you continue to live Life as you please, allowing your pride to devour those who try to give you a good advise about Salvation, woe be unto you.

Many people call themselves Christians, but Jesus says: You must be born again! The person who is born again lives with an awakened soul, with the desire to do only the things that please God, not his or herself. Do not wait to stand at the White Throne judgment seat of God. This judgment of His is the judgment of fatality for all of those who are judged by it.

Believe in Jesus Christ. Accept who He says He is. Believe that by His blood your sins are washed away and live a life without sin. You will not be judged for sins, but you will be judged for your works. The greater your works in Love, the greater your rewards of Love, in Paradise.

@u and me both.: what could be so derogatory about this statement that *u and me both* made. this is so correct. The bible says we cannot serve man and mammon. its just like you cant love and hate your mom at the same time. thus you cannot be UNSAVED and still be a christian. You are either SAVED or UNSAVED.
    I
To be a christian there must be standards. you must follow certain priciples and that cannot be disputed.its just like going to the beach a woman going to find a swimwear. if she goes with some heels ad fancy dress to bathe in the sea then comments will be made. if you walk through town naked persons will look at you.
for example if an adventis buys on saturday then persons throw it in their faces.
NOTE christian rules will be broken , however there are CHRISTIAN STANDARDS. i do not judge anyone but the fact is if anyone does not folow the standards then that individual is not and i repeat not a christian. ( one may sin and be remorseful while another may simply live his/her life wrecklessy.) the christian is remorseful.

@Mac: i think u’re taking “u and me both” a lil outer context. i dont think he called the young man an unsaved…he’s just sayin some ppl are, by their fruits (according to the bible) can be considered unsaved, example, eminem doesnt scream christian…he raps about degrading women, hating his mother and killing his ex…..though some of his songs may be seem as speakin about life i agree, he isnt exactly the right person to uplift some1 in christianity, and thats wat that young man should be aiming for.

@u and me both.: Well you must be Jesus, because it is Jesus to make the decision of who is saved or not. I believe in Jesus, live a life of a christian and live in hope – I do hope to be saved, but thats not for me to Judge. But you better watch your back, since you have already decided for God that this man should not be saved. Maybe you’ve decided you should take on the Masters authority – how you dare, I don’t know. Maybe it is you who need to stop judging and surrender your life to God. I strongly don’t believe that those who have decided they are saved should label themselves as christians. more like fakes. Oh and pray that you surrender your life to God and live a life well pleasing to God.

In the meantime Alex, well done , good goals. It is not the music that is the problem, but if there are dirty words in the music. So keep it clean. You are a christian and God will continue to guide you. Good luck with your future!

@Patriot: am just say…if u born again believer your fruits have to be different fruits of the spirit that is…..you are a child of God as such your life should show that….am just referring to the fact that he said his religion is Christian….but is he born again….accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and personal Saviour…if yes…then he should review his profile….EVERYBODY IS A CHRISTIAN…BUT THE QUESTION IS WHO HAVE ACTUAL ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR LOUD AND PERSONAL SAVIOUR…REMEMBER GIVING $1,000,000.00 TO THE POOR DON’T MAKE U A CHRISTIAN…GOODNESS DON’T ALLOW INTO HEAVEN….

    @u and me both.:

    Definition of Christian:

“One who professes belief in Jesus as Christ or follows the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus. Most Christians believe in the doctrine of the Trinity (“tri-unity”), a description of God as Father, as Son, and as Holy Spirit. This includes Roman Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity, and the vast majority of Protestantism”
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrisian

Is only you small minded Dominicans who seem to think that only Protestants are christians. Like heaven is a piece of land that someboby left only for you. Some of you worse than persons who dont go to church at all….pretenders!!!

@u and me both.: People like you are the problem with “Christianity” today and why many young people will continue to leave the church. And so what if he listens to this type of music….that’s his prerogative!!! The type of music you listen to has nothing to do with what is in your heart!!!

    September 10, 2010

@u and me both.: far too much is put on whether or not someone is a “practicing” christian. Consider all the so called believers who f*** everything up for the rest of us (literally in some cases). I’m talking about pastors and priests and those most actively involved in the church. The young man seems accomplished and ambitious and I personally don’t think his choice of music should lead anyone to believe he is not born again believer.

that is like saying he should close his ears to what he likes and considers motivation. RAP and Hip/Hop music, contrary to popular belief, is actually one of the last forms of expression created by descendants of slaves to underline the newest forms of oppression handed down to the black race by their former white colonial masters. issues like drugs (cocaine and crack -created by the white man).
what Eminem delivers is a combination of the white and black man’s perspective to life and oppression and some of us might not like him because of the way he delivers his message. which is something that can be said for many other ppl -not just rappers like EMINEM.

anyway i would suggest u take your foot out of your a** and open your mind to LIFE and realize that it does happen, in abundance, outside the church and being born again doesn’t make u any more of a christian that someone who isn’t. the only thing that does is open doors that takes you closer to the almighty. true christianity is in the HEART my sweet!

    Cheers…

@u and me both.: Who are you to determine people “UNSAVED.” And since when you have the sacred moral authority to determine who is Christian. I thought the Almighty said leave that up to him.

Talk for your own salvation. Remember Christianity resides in your heart(where others can’t see), and not the church you attend.

yeah wowowo…DNO made a good choice…however I am Christian (BORN-AGAIN-BELIEVER) & i strong don’t believe unsaved should label them selves as christian…unsaved are running the real value of the word christian. If u are a born again believer i think you should reconsider the type of music and artist u listen too ok…but i think u really deserve to get personality of the week. Keep up with your goal and God’s blessing man…oh and pray that you surrender your life to God and live a life well pleasing to God.
