Philosophy: I was born into this life with nothing, so everything I receive I consider it a blessing.

About me: I’m originally from Petite Soufriere. I received the foundation of my education from the San Sauveur Government School. There I was mentored by one of the greatest principals /persons I ever came across, deceased Mrs. Theresa Seraphine.

After graduating from this school I attended the Castle Bruce Secondary School, where I was the first ever head boy. I attained this position for two years. Upon graduation I continued my education at the Dominica State College where I majored in civil engineering. My experience at the college was very vast and broad. I did not only learn aspects of engineering, but I spent some of my school days doing battle rapping, playing card games and a variety of other activities that would not have been advised with other classmates.

Within my two years at DSC I have made some lifelong friends which I keep in contact with up to this day. When my days at DSC were over, I got my first professional job at CLICO International Life Insurance. There I made more good friends in the professional environment, because of my education background I worked there for only three months and got my second job at Sorell Consulting Ltd as a technical assistant. At this company I worked with Mr. Alister Grell and Clive Sorhaindo and learnt a wealth of information as it relates to engineering and construction.

I worked at this company for two years then continued my journey. I moved to New York to further my studies. I graduated with honours in 2008 from the Borough of Manhattan Community college with another associate’s degree in engineering science.

Presently I am attending the City College of New York where I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a double concentration in structures and environmental engineering.

Future goal: To own my engineering company.
