The Library and Information Service, Marigot Branch Library, invited the UNDP to deliver a presentation at their annual Summer Program under the theme “Disaster Preparedness and Resilient Building Begins with Me”.
This took place on July 26th and with the support of the Engineers without Borders, UNDP representatives had an interactive session with about thirty 5 to 12 year old children from Marigot and surrounding communities. They actively participated and were well informed on a few of the topics presented.
We closed off our visit with face painting which was well received and every child enjoyed.
