UWP ELECTION PAGE: UWP Team Dominica ready to Rebuild

team dominicaDominica’s United Workers Party (UWP) is ready to rebuild Dominica, and lead the people to recovery from 15 years of brutal mismanagement of national affairs by Roosevelt Skerrit’s Dominica Labour Party (DLP) administration.

The party noted that in the last days leading up to the island’s December 8 General Elections several independent political analysts and the most recent pre-election poll have predicted a resounding victory by the UWP over the DLP.

With the latest pre-election indicators showing a massive move by the electorate away from the DLP, the UWP is now fully confidence that the Dominican people will do the right thing and vote the party’s Team Dominica into office.

The party said the people’s rejection of DLP corruption and maladministration is long overdue, pointing out that public servants can no longer afford to face the banks for mortgages and their monthly income is decimated by massive salary deductions.

The UWP noted that Dominicans can no longer endure farmers being turned into beggars and construction workers sit idly by as highly-paid foreigners work on projects financed by loan money Dominican taxpayers will have to pay back.
