LGBTQ+ advocate gone missing in Antigua

Orden “Passo” David

A popular LGBTQ+ advocate is missing in Antigua and Barbuda and many residents fear that he may have been killed.

Orden “Passo” David and/or his vehicle vanished from the neighbouring island on January 25.

The police and private groups have mounted several searches for David but have yielded no results

Despite the employment of drones, K9-Units, and personnel from the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force are coming up empty-handed every day.

David, 39, was last seen on Saturday, January 25, wearing a red vest and short grey jeans. He was driving a black Honda Fit, registration number A60870.

Concern grew when calls to his mobile phone went unanswered, leading to a missing person’s report being filed at the Bolans Police Station on Sunday.

DNO it’s OK to report about the LGBTQ advocate of Antigua that went missing and to let us know that many residents fear that he may have been killed.
But DNO why are not saying a thing about the young Jolly’man that was shut in New Town in broad day light earlier this this week? My lord, why the silence ?
Also, why nothing is said about the young man the police described as the suspect of the car shooting of the calypsonian. I know he’s been realest but was he charged or are they looking for another? So much secrets in Dominica these days boy.
DNO I am asking because I want to know

ADMIN: We did report on the individual who was arrested in matter concerning the calypsonian Trendsetter: https://dominicanewsonline.com/news/homepage/news/police-arrest-suspect-in-shooting-incident-involving-narrin-murphy/

We have a report coming out on the other shooting. We received conflicting reports and wanted to verify the facts before posting about that incident.

lbo, Barbuda to my knowledge is apparently 62 square miles in comparison to Dominica which is 289.9-305 square miles.
The issues on that small island parallel what is happening in Dominica!
The difference is the Chinese are paying for the land they occupy, we see progress in the form of an operating International Airport, the building of hotels building by foreign investors utilizing their money.
In Dominica: Roosevelt Skerrit gives billions of dollars to foreigners claiming to be building hotels, they take the money and run!
Murder is at a higher ratio in Dominica, there are less similarities to what’s happening on that island to the situation on the 305 square mile island, where Roosevelt allows a man whose real name he doesn’t know in control of billions of dollars from the sale of Dominica passport, in some foreign country, handing peanuts changed out of it to Roosevelt when he deems fit!
Barbuda thing is a picnic to Dominica horror.

Francisco! You are entitled to your opinion and I respect that. However, I wish to disagree with you without being disagreeable. This is no frivolous matter.

When indigenous people lose their lands to foreigners it is lost forever. Land is finite. Therefore, what will be left for their generations yet unborn.

For local development, for me land should be leased even for long term but not sold to foreigners. This is a monumental insult and a blatant disregard to our forebears who gave their lives for this precious commodity. Hope you rethink your position.

I certainly appreciate your every word, nevertheless, we have to be reminded that if countries like the United States, Canada, did not allow foreigners to enter into their country and allow them to buy land, Real Estate in general, perhaps the country’s mentioned would not be as economically developed as they presently. lbo; if you or anybody who has the financial means to buy an old rundown property, a fixer upper in 🇮🇹 Italy, the government will sell you house and land for US$1.00 dollar!
I suspect the reason they do that is to encourage wealthy people into their country; it is a fact foreigners do help to build nations.
The Antiguans have been using that method to attract rich people since the end of colonialism. Hence the name “Mill Reef “ East of Antigua was created by American millionaires where they occupied for years.
You see foreign progress in Antigua & Barbuda, unlike Dominica, where foreigners take Roosevelt money and run!

In very recent years, too many people for such a small island have disappeared without a trace. Is something very sinister happening there?

Meanwhile, the police seem incapable of solving these disappearances. They are more obsessed in intimidating the native people of Barbuda by depriving them of their lands under the disguise of development. White foreign investors are now becoming the new landowners.

The lands that our fore-parents died for are now being parceled out for the descendants of those who enslaved our forebears.
